What is Proba Protocol?

Proba protocol is an open-source suite of persistent, non-upgradable smart contracts that together create a framework for creating and interacting with decentralized games of chance through minting and executing rxNFTS.

What are rxNFTs?
rxNFTs (randomly executable NFTs) are programmable ERC-721 tokens with embedded logic that grant holders the right to execute randomized outcomes on-chain. For example, in a lottery game, rxNFTs represent the lottery tickets. Holders can redeem their rxNFTs to reveal lottery outcomes and claim rewards.
What blockchains are currently supported?
The first version of Proba Protocol is deployed on the Arbitrum ONE blockchain.This provides a scalable environment with lower gas fees for a better userexperience. Additional EVM-compatible chains may be supported in the futurebased on demand.
How can I build a game on Proba Protocol?
You have two options:

1. Build your own front-end application that integrates with the core Probacontracts to run games end-to-end.

Are Proba Protocol games fully on-chain?
Yes, the entire lifecycle of Proba games happens transparently on-chain,ensuring trustlessness. No central servers are involved at any point.
How are game winners determined?
Winners are chosen verifiably on-chain using Chainlink VRF, an oracle thatprovides provably fair and tamper-proof randomness. You can independentlyverify game outcomes.
Has the protocol been audited?
Official audits will be conducted at a later stage. For now, experienced engineershave reviewed the codebase. We take security extremely seriously.
How is fair randomness ensured?
We integrate with Chainlink VRF which cryptographically proves the randomnessused to determine game outcomes. This prevents any manipulation of results.
What's next for Proba Protocol?
We're currently focused on launching high-quality games to demonstrate theprotocol's capabilities. Our roadmap includes features like additional gametemplates, developer tools, and improvements to the player experience.
Will Proba Protocol have a governance token?
We are considering introducing a governance token in the future. This would givethe community control to shape the protocol's development and ecosystem. Butfor now we are focused on building a great product.
